How to Post a Video

Hey All –

I am trying to make it easier for people who want to, to post their own videos. For those of us who are less tech saavy, always feel free to send me the video and I can post it. However, you can now post your own videos with these easy steps.

1. Record your video (either on phone or webcam)

2. Upload the video to youtube. I created an account everyone can use

** Note, If you record on your iPhone, grab the YouTube app, it is really simple to then upload the video right from there.

3. Once your video is uploaded it will look this this: http://i.imgur.com/wqnYF3e.png

4. Click the blue PUBLISH button, you can then get the URL: http://i.imgur.com/WolJ5L7.png

5. Take the URL where the youtube video is and just paste it here in the forum. The forum will automatically take that URL and embed the video for all to see. MAGIC

I will be reserving the homepage of the site for weekly wrap ups and such and post smack talk videos here in the forums instead. I have moved one of Dan’s videos here so you can see exactly how to do it.

** Note: I guess it is important to paste the youtube URL first and THEN write your text (if any)
